On July 3, 2022, the 「安慶回歸25載——中華文藝綜合大匯演」 was successfully held at Wong Tai Sin Cultural Garden. Organized by the Wong Tai Sin District Office, the Kowloon Federation of Associations, the Wong Tai Sin District Celebration Committee, and the Octone Foundation, the event aimed to promote Chinese culture and immerse citizens in the festive spirit of the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland. Mr. He Fan and Ms. Zhang Gong served as advisors for the event.
The gala featured over 130 performers who delivered 10 captivating programs, each reflecting artistic excellence. Highlights included parent-child recitations, Chinese dance, a children's choir, collective Chinese martial arts, solo performances, group guzheng, teacher recitations, a Wudang Tai Chi demonstration, a model fashion show, and a grand chorus. The event brought together participants of all ages in a joyous celebration, fostering connections between old and new friends.
As the saying goes, "If the youth are strong, the country is strong." The venue was filled with the cheerful faces of children, embodying hope and potential. The organizers believe this event provided a meaningful lesson in patriotism, love for Hong Kong, and appreciation of history and culture.
