Octone Foundation partnered once again with the AMG Volunteer Group to take Po Leung Kuk out of home care children to Victoria Park Lunar New Year Fair.
Award presentation ceremony for the 2025 “China Life Kids Art” Drawing Competition
Hosted by China Life (Overseas) and supported by Octone Foundation, the award presentation ceremony for the 2025 “China Life Kids Art” Drawing Competition was held at the China Life Center on January 31, 2026. Thank you to all the kids artists, parents, and teachers for participating.
The 2nd “Youth Dreams - Ride the Dream”
The Second “Youth Dreams -Ride the Dream” Charity Carnival, organized by the Octone Foundation in the spirit of gratitude and giving back while embracing sustainable corporate development, will be held on 10–11 January 2026 at TWGHs Tung Po Hu Lee Ming Ching Sports Centre, No. 2 Tsat Po Street, San Po Kong, Wong Tai Sin, Kowloon. Co-hosted in collaboration with Hong Kong Customs, the Fire Services Department, and the Police Community Relations Office—together with support from over ten well-known local enterprises—this two-day, feel-good celebration features fun game booths, immersive workshop experiences, instant-photo check-in spots, energetic live music, and surprise guest appearances. Everyone is warmly invited to join, share kindness, and cheer on youth and dreams through meaningful action.
“Artamin” - Co-Creation Workshop
At the “Youth Dreams Come True – Ride with Your Dreams” charity carnival, the Octone Foundation partnered with the “Artamin” co-creation workshop to launch a large-scale public art project themed around “Dreamcatchers.” Together with artist Beiya Yang and curator Karl Law, the team utilized the warmth of weaving to build an interactive platform where children, teenagers, and families could articulate their dreams and messages. Over two days, participants completed three massive woven installations: one signature piece specially created for the Foundation, and two panels co-created live by the public. More than just an art activity, this collaboration served as a vivid practice of youth arts education, community engagement, and collective benevolence, standing as the carnival's visual and emotional core where countless dreams were woven, witnessed, and treasured.

This time, Octone Foundation collaborated again with the social enterprise AMG Volunteer Group and staff from Po Leung Kuk homes to take the children on a Crystal Bus tour to explore Hong Kong’s iconic night scenery.
“Love Extends a Thousand Miles · Warm Hearts Build Dreams” — Octone Foundation Supports Huaiji Mountain Children’s Growth
On November 29-30, 2025, warm sunlight dispersed the mountain mist, filling the campus with affection. Octone Foundation, as a supporting organization, joined Zhaoqing Heart-to-Heart Charity Association and Hong Kong ContriPassion Charity Group to successfully host the “Love Extends a Thousand Miles” rural children education assistance and visitation event at Longtian Campus and Chaojin Teaching Point of Yonggu Central Primary School in Yonggu Town, Huaiji County, delivering practical aid and spiritual encouragement to the students.
"Outing with Kids" Po Leung Kuk Autumn Outdoor Experience Activity
Octone Foundation once again joined hands with the social enterprise AMG Wefire Volunteer Team and children from Po Leung Kuk residential homes to organize the "Outing with Kids" autumn excursion for residential home care children. Together, they visited Hong Kong’s Victoria Peak Garden, allowing the children to experience the cool and pleasant autumn weather and enjoy the scenic views from Victoria Peak.
'Open the Box 2025: Bloom of Light'
On July 27th, the Octone Foundation participated in the participatory art project "Unboxing 2025: Bloom of Light," organized by Tai Kwun Contemporary and led by Japanese artist Shinji Ohmaki. The event was successfully held. The Octone Foundation invited 25 children from Po Leung Kuk residential homes to attend as the creative protagonists, transforming life memories into floral patterns through free creation, allowing them to "grow and spread" in the Tai Kwun exhibition hall, embodying the core philosophy of "Creating the Future through Art, Culture Without Boundaries."

Octone Foundation, together with the children, arrived at the Ronald McDonald House to embark on an unforgettable journey. One of the highlights of the trip was a specially prepared party organized by the sponsors for the kids. At the party, the children not only enjoyed a variety of delicious food and fun games but also had the opportunity to interact with volunteers and other children. This experience played a significant role in enhancing their social skills and learning basic social etiquette.
Art Basel Hong Kong 2025: Igniting Artistic Dreams and Expanding International Horizons
As one of the most influential arts events in Asia, the 2025 Art Basel Hong Kong Exhibition was successfully concluded at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center from March 26 to 30. The exhibition is themed "Connecting Global Art Practice" and attracted 240 top art galleries from 42 countries and regions around the world to participate in the exhibition, including 23 galleries that debuted, fully demonstrating Hong Kong's unique status and attraction as an Asian art hub.

the Octone Foundation once again collaborated with the social enterprise Wefire Volunteers and the Po Leung Kuk toddler group to organize the "Outing with Kids" spring outdoor event for children residing in welfare homes. The event allowed children to enjoy the annual floral exhibition at Victoria Park, while exploring nature and savoring cultural experiences to infuse them with the vitality and joy of spring.
“Panda Wonders: The Story of Giant Pandas and Hong Kong” Book Launch and Donation Ceremony Concludes Successfully with Support from Octone Foundation
On February 26, the book launch and donation ceremony for “Panda Wonders: The Story of Giant Pandas and Hong Kong”, jointly organized by Chung Hwa Education and We For Book and supported by the Octone Foundation, was grandly held in Hong Kong. The event gathered government officials, corporate representatives, educators, and over 200 students, marking a significant milestone in Hong Kong’s panda conservation education.

Partnering with Vangolf to donate brand-new thermal underwear and clothing
As the Lunar New Year approaches, Octone Foundation and Vangolf joined forces to bring festive blessings to nearly 65 children from three Po Leung Kuk childcare centers. Together, they donated brand-new thermal undergarments and clothing, ensuring the children feel the warmth and care of the New Year.
「壹脈香城 拾藝九龍」 Charity Painting Workshop
Enhancing teenagers' confidence through art can also foster connections between people. This event has specially invited Fu Chadqing , a young artist from the Beijing Jin Shangyi Art Foundation, to participate in Hong Kong. Known for his expertise in depicting urban landscapes, he will showcase the cityscapes of both Beijing and Hong Kong through his paintings, allowing everyone to experience the cultural differences and charm of the two cities. At the same time, it is hoped that teenagers can discover themselves and achieve personal growth through art.
Parent-Child DIY Mooncake Workshop
the Octone Foundation, in collaboration with the East Kowloon Residents' Association, and with the assistance of the Hong Kong Emperor Group and China Travel Bus, held the "Bing" Presenting Intent · DIY Mooncake Workshop, organizing 30 grassroots families in the Wong Tai Sin District to learn how to make custard mooncakes, taught in person by Master Ye Wing-Hwa, the custard mooncake founder of the Peninsula Hotel, and Master Lai Wing-Kwun, a Michelin two-star pastry master. This allowed children and parents to make mooncakes together, reflecting the meaning of family reunion during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
「青春圓夢 兔氣揚眉」Charity Carnival
A two-day event was grandly held at the Kowloon Bay International Trade and Exhibition Centre, benefiting over 2,500 grassroots youth families. More than 30 leaders from public welfare, charitable, and commercial organizations gathered to contribute to promoting social welfare and advocating traditional Chinese culture, allowing them to enjoy a love-filled New Year carnival in advance.
"Dream Journey Together"
To alleviate the stress faced by grassroots families due to the pandemic and bring them positive energy, Mr. Ho Fan, Chairman of the Octone Foundation Arts Charity Fund, launched the "Dream Together" event on October 25, 2020, alongside other Hong Kong charities. The initiative aimed to broaden children's horizons, allowing them to enjoy joyful moments with their families. It sought to spread happiness to every corner of society and create cherished memories for participants.
