On January 24, 2024, as the Lunar New Year was approaching, Octone Foundation and Vangolf brought festive blessings to nearly 65 children from Po Leung Kuk's Child Care Centres by donating brand new thermal underwear and clothing to bring warmth and care to the children in the New Year.
Po Leung Kuk Child Care Centres held a simple but heart-warming donation ceremony in the afternoon. At the event, Mr He Fan, Chairman of Octone Foundation, said, "Octone Foundation has always been committed to helping the needy, and we are very pleased to be able to bring joy and support to this group of children today. We hope that through this event, the children can feel the love and care, and also help them build up a sense of intimacy and security, and provide more support and encouragement for their growth." Mr. 陳宇彬, President of Vangolf, said, "We hope that through this donation, the children can feel the love and support from the community on this special holiday. We firmly believe that every little bit of care can bring infinite warmth and hope to the children."
In addition to clothing donation, a series of experiential programs were designed for children who lack family connections and live in institutions for a long period of time. During the program, volunteers accompanied the children to participate in outings in a two-to-one ratio, and through games and interactions, helped them build stable emotional ties and attachments.
's donation activity not only brought material help to the children, but also let them feel the love and support from the society. The good deed of Octone Foundation and Vangolf once again demonstrates the importance of cooperation between enterprises and charity organizations, which brings more hope to the needy groups.
