On 20 October (Sunday), Octone Foundation, together with the AMG Volunteer Team, organized another outing for young people from Po Leung Kuk residential care homes.

This time, volunteers and Po Leung Kuk staff accompanied the young people on a two-hour visit to an indoor playground in North Point, where an afternoon of fun, laughter and play awaited.

From imaginative role-play and arcade games to claw machines, a colorful sandpit and the ever-popular ball pit, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The playground was filled with laughter and excitement as the young people and volunteers shared a joyful afternoon together, making happy memories along the way.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to China Travel Tours Transportation Services Hong Kong Limited for generously providing transportation support and helping make this outing possible.

Since 2025, Octone Foundation has partnered with Po Leung Kuk on Outing with Kids, a series of outings specially designed for young people in residential care who have limited contact with their families. Through these shared experiences, we hope to create more opportunities for them to explore the world beyond their residential homes, engage with the wider community, build meaningful relationships and develop their social skills.

Above all, we hope these outings provide a sense of companionship and belonging, helping young people build confidence, feel supported and create cherished memories as they grow.

Out of respect for the young people's privacy, all photographs shared from this activity have been carefully selected to ensure that their faces remain unidentifiable.
