Traditional Crafts Meet Artistic Experiences, Creating Festive Memories for Families
Over the two-day programme, participants took part in a diverse range of workshops, including bamboo steamer craftsmanship, wool soap making, aromatherapy sachet making, printmaking, and paper cutting. Through hands-on activities, participants explored the characteristics of different materials and crafts while experiencing the creative possibilities that emerge from the fusion of traditional culture and contemporary art.

Promoting awareness and carrying forward the knowledge of intangible cultural heritage was one of the key focuses of the event. Through hands-on and interactive experiences, young people were introduced to traditional craftsmanship and encouraged to progress from observation and learning to creative practice, deepening their understanding of Chinese culture.
Families also strengthened communication and created lasting festive memories through making and creating together, allowing cultural heritage to become a natural part of family life.

The event also made use of the public space at Diamond Hill Water Feature Park, bringing together artistic experiences and community exchange. People of different ages and backgrounds gathered to share in the festive celebrations, fostering neighbourhood interaction and injecting vitality into the community.
