Octone Foundation co-organized the "Hong Kong Youth Bay Area Cultural Walk" kick-off ceremony

In the morning of 29 November, the "Hong Kong Youth Bay Area Cultural Tour" organized by SUPer Youth Camp under Bauhinia Cultural Group and co-organized by Gleanings Charitable Foundation was successfully held at the exhibition space on Level L1 of the West Kowloon High Speed Rail Station in Hong Kong, with the participation of Mr. Zhang Gong, Vice Chairman of Gleanings Charitable Foundation, with a view to helping Hong Kong youths to better understand the development of China's cultural industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and to promote communication and liaison between different organizations and social groups in Hong Kong. It also promotes communication and liaison among young people of different organizations and social groups in Hong Kong, and strengthens the emotional ties between young people in Guangdong and Hong Kong.
 

The "Hong Kong Youth Bay Area Cultural Walk" will be held in various cities in the Greater Bay Area for two consecutive days (29-30). 50 Hong Kong youth representatives from various sectors will be invited from Hong Kong to visit a number of national and provincial cultural venues in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Zhuhai, such as the National Repertory Theatre Guangzhou Branch, and to have talks and exchanges with young people from the relevant fields in Guangdong.

Director of Bauhinia Cultural Group, Mr. Hu Xianzheng, the organizer of the tour, said in his speech that the first theme of the "Hong Kong Youth Cultural Tour to the Bay Area" is "A Closer Look at Arts and Culture". The delegation will visit a number of key cultural venues in the Bay Area to appreciate the charm of humanities and arts and explore the behind-the-scenes stories. Another theme of the Culture Walk is to build bridges for young people to make friends through culture. Youth representatives from different organizations, social groups and related fields in Hong Kong can enhance communication, deepen understanding, make friends and return home full of joy.

The "Hong Kong Youth Bay Area Cultural Walk" was supported by the HKSAR Government's Youth Affairs Bureau, the Youth Work Department of the Hong Kong Central People's Government's Liaison Office, the Hong Kong Chinese Enterprises Association, the Elite Club of Hong Kong, Elite Club of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Chinese Civil Servants' Association, the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area Youth Federation, the Gleanings Charitable Foundation, and other related organizations such as CRH, China Merchants Holdings Limited, Hong Kong-China Travel Service (HKCTS), ICBC Asia Pacific, and the Asia Cultural Centre Group.
