The virus is relentless, but love is compassionate; love unites to bring warmth to people's hearts. On February 25, 2022, in a bid to support Hong Kong’s fight against the pandemic and assist disadvantaged grassroots communities, the Octone Foundation Art Charity Fund donated essential anti-epidemic supplies to the heavily impacted Kowloon area. These supplies were received by representatives of the Kowloon Federation of Associations to bolster epidemic prevention efforts, provide urgent assistance to those in need, and exemplify a strong sense of social responsibility and commitment.

The Octone Foundation Art Charity Fund emphasized that the COVID-19 pandemic continues to ravage Hong Kong, with daily infection rates remaining alarmingly high, making pandemic control an urgent priority. Grassroots communities, elderly care homes, and facilities for individuals with disabilities are among the most vulnerable, requiring substantial epidemic prevention supplies. To address these pressing needs, the foundation, through the Kowloon Federation of Associations, delivered much-needed supplies to grassroots citizens in the hardest-hit areas of Kowloon. This initiative aims to enhance their ability to prevent infections and mitigate the risks of transmission.

Unity breeds strength, and love inspires action. This heartfelt initiative reflects a broader wave of support for epidemic prevention efforts, as numerous compassionate enterprises and organizations across Hong Kong join forces to spread positivity, foster community warmth, and contribute meaningfully to the city’s fight against the pandemic.

Together, we can overcome! Despite the ongoing severity of the COVID-19 situation in Hong Kong, the association firmly believes that through collective effort and solidarity, the epidemic can be defeated. Let us unite with shared purpose and determination to safeguard our beloved homeland, our vibrant Hong Kong, and build a strong, compassionate defense against the pandemic.
