As one of the most influential arts events in Asia, the 2025 Art Basel Hong Kong Exhibition was successfully concluded at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center from March 26 to 30. The exhibition is themed "Connecting Global Art Practice" and attracted 240 top art galleries from 42 countries and regions around the world to participate in the exhibition, including 23 galleries that debuted, fully demonstrating Hong Kong's unique status and attraction as an Asian art hub.
The exhibition site brought together many internationally renowned artists and emerging creators, presenting diverse art forms and creative concepts. From painting, sculpture to installation art, all of them demonstrate the richness and innovation of global contemporary art. The exhibition gallery not only displays its representative works of art, but also promotes the exchange and dialogue of art and culture through interaction with the audience, further consolidating the important position of Art Basel in the international art world.
During this art event, Octone Foundation specially planned and organized a youth art visit event to promote the local younger generation's understanding and enthusiasm for art on 30th March. The event invited 50 local middle school students and young friends who are interested in art to go deep into the exhibition site and get close to the diverse charm of international art. During the visit, the students not only watched the fine arts from all over the world, but also participated in the explanation activities led by professional guides to gain an in-depth understanding of the creative stories and cultural background behind various art works.
This youth visit activity not only provides young people with a platform to explore contemporary art, but also stimulates their interest and creativity in art. At the same time, this also reflects the positive contribution of the Octone Foundation to cultivating the local art and cultural atmosphere and promoting the development of art education. During the Art Basel in Hong Kong, Octone Foundation sponsored young friends to participate in art events and organized discussions so that young friends can have a deeper understanding and experience art.
