On November 29-30, 2025, warm sunlight dispersed the mountain mist, filling the campus with affection. Octone Foundation, as a supporting organization, joined Zhaoqing Heart-to-Heart Charity Association and Hong Kong ContriPassion Charity Group to successfully host the “Love Extends a Thousand Miles” rural children education assistance and visitation event at Longtian Campus and Chaojin Teaching Point of Yonggu Central Primary School in Yonggu Town, Huaiji County, delivering practical aid and spiritual encouragement to the students.
Octone Foundation Chairman Mr. Ho Fan stated his gratitude for the national rural revitalization program, which transformed impassable village paths from a decade ago into accessible roads and enabled every household to move into new buildings, though quality of life still requires self-reliance. While our contributions are limited, we hope through the “Dream Building Small World” project to plant a seed of upward learning in children’s hearts—to take dreams as horses, not waste youth, neither slackening in prosperity nor wavering in adversity, treading steadily on the path of study and growing toward the sun.
On the first day, Heart-to-Heart volunteers and Longtian Campus teachers and students warmly welcomed the Hong Kong ContriPassion volunteer team. The assistance ceremony opened amid the solemn national anthem, with children’s tender faces full of respect. The Party Branch Secretary and Principal of Yonggu Central Primary School gave remarks, thanking the charitable aid and urging students to turn gratitude into learning motivation. Representatives from Hong Kong ContriPassion and Heart-to-Heart Vice Secretary-General Ms. Mo Ruilan spoke, encouraging students to boldly pursue dreams.
During the unveiling ceremony, school representatives, donors, and Heart-to-Heart Vice President Ms. Zou Xiuying jointly unveiled the “Love Stage,” with the school presenting a commemorative plaque in return. Longtian students performed martial arts routines and dances, showcasing vitality; ContriPassion young volunteers bridged distances with energetic dances.
Scholarships and subsidies were then distributed to encourage diligent and economically disadvantaged students. In the interactive session, volunteers and children held hands in play and group dances, turning the playground into a sea of joy and concluding the first day perfectly.
Early the next morning, volunteers visited disadvantaged families with supplies, inquiring about daily life and studies, offering reminders and encouragement to warm the winter day. In the afternoon at Chaojin Teaching Point, aid was distributed; a farewell group dance brought heartfelt reluctance.
From 2013 to 2025, Hong Kong ContriPassion has deeply rooted in Yonggu Town for over a decade, investing about RMB 1.5 million to improve education; Heart-to-Heart continues linking societal love. This event supported 12 households and 30 students with material and spiritual aid—lion dance celebrations, martial arts energy, game laughter, and visitation warmth embodying “boundless great love.”
