Presented by WestK Performing Arts, the third edition of the WestK FunFest (FunFest) is currently underway, offering over 120 diverse, family-friendly programmes.

This year, FunFest launched the "FunFest for All" Community Programme (the Programme). The Programme aims to uplift the community through the inclusivity of the arts, offering families from diverse backgrounds, social strata, and needs more opportunities to experience arts and culture, fostering intergenerational bonding, and creating lasting memories together.

In collaboration with FunFest’s Community Partners, KPMG, Octone Foundation and Our Hong Kong Foundation, the initiative connects with local charitable organisations across various sectors, including the Society for Community Organization (SoCO), St. James' Settlement, Love 21 Foundation, and Caritas Mother Teresa School. Together, they invited underprivileged families to enjoy FunFest free of charge over the Easter long weekend.

The beneficiary families were invited to enjoy the participatory performance To copy presented by Barcelona-based circus company, taste a variety of local themed delicacies at the FunFest Market, and play classic games at the retro Hong Kong-style outdoor playground at Freespace.

• Co-presented by WestK and local non-profit arts collective ALAN (Artists who Love Animals and Nature), the immersive story theatre Snowmelt (10 to 12 April), leads the audience into a frozen secret realm through a blend of acrobatics, dance, martial arts, puppetry and interactive visuals.

• Public performances of the winning projects from Arts Impact Fellowship, including the participatory street dance performance The Rhythm of Souls (11 April) that invites the audience to experience simple physical movements; and the juggling theatre Mushroom Fantasy (12 April), co-created by local juggling group and intergenerational community performers and artists using everyday objects.
